Happy Weekend everyone,
I purposely delayed posting this update, as I wanted to post it after some of the backers had started receiving their GIGA(s).
Fulfilment has started in Australia and the UK. Some of the backers have started receiving theirs and some of them have posted this on the comment section of the campaign.
For those in the US. We ought to have started fulfilling yours too, but the lease of the previous office we got was withdrawn and we had to secure a new place. The lease of the new place kicks off on the 1st of March and this is when we are allowed to start using the unit. The good news is that we have prepared everything we need to start the fulfillment with immediate effect, so there is nothing to worry about.
As for the EU, I am still on it. I am meeting with DHL and Royal Mail on Monday to see how to sort this out. Hermes would not allow us to create shipping labels and DPD is charging £17 per shipment (which weighs just 400g). Worst case scenario, all EU orders would be shipped from Australia and we will set the price of GIGA to $10 per piece and mark them as Prototype Products, I will share more news with regards to this next week. This is the same for all backers that are not from the UK, US, EU or AU. For example those from ASIA (India etc). Your orders will be shipped from our AU fulfilment hub.
The rest of the GIGA is almost done and they will be ready in 2 weeks. This means all backers will receive their GIGA in March/April 2022.

Quality is one thing we take seriously at VOLTA. Like I said in some of the previous updates, you will love the GIGA and the Anchor when they get into your hands. They were well made and the good news is that we never had any technical problems while making them. Some of the backers that have received theirs are already testifying to this.
Finally, we are almost there and with our new fulfilment centres in the UK and US. This simply means we can now improve our delivery efficiency and get your future orders into your hand on time. Thank you for bearing with us and for helping us get this far. This wouldn't have been possible without you.

Good day everyone,
Adedayo here. I hope you had a great start into the new week.
I can only imagine how disappointing this experience must have been for you. I have no words to express how sorry I am and I feel embarrassed posting this update. Allow me to start here, everything that could break had broken in VOLTA and we are going through a very tough time right now.
If you also noticed the response time of our customer service was significantly impacted towards the ending of 2021. Two of our main customer service reps got severely sick. We had to get new people in to fill their spots. Since they were new and we had to endure a lot of things with them.
Some of our goods also got stuck at the port in the USA and our hub manager had to fill out a lot of paperworks. This process was rigorous and strenuous. We've only just got this taken care of yesterday. I guess it was normal that we first go through this process since we are just setting up.
Our shipping agent from China was also sending us multiple messages to warn us that the goods could be sent back to China by Fedex (see the image attached).
Nonetheless, this shouldn't be an excuse. However, I can assure you that you will not regret trusting us with your money. We will make this right and we appreciate you so much. Our new fulfilment hubs in the UK and USA are 95% ready. The good news is that quite a lot of stock got into our UK fulfilment hub last weekend.
These two fulfilment offices will significantly decrease our current delivery timeline. Moving forward, customers in the UK, USA, Canada, Europe, can expect to receive their orders within 1-3 days max. Orders from Europe and the UK would be fulfilled from Manchester. While orders from the USA and Canada would be fulfilled from Texas.
I spent the whole Sunday night in the UK hub unpacking cables and getting the hub ready to ship out orders placed within the UK and Europe this week. I have also received 3 additional boxes today (Tuesday the 15th of 2022 in the UK).

None of these delays was caused by any technical problems regarding the manufacturing of these products. These were delays caused by logistics only. I know you are disappointed and unhappy. The only thing I can say right now is that we are sorry and it was never in our best interest to delay or make you unhappy. You helped us get this far and it would be a foolish move for us to intentionally disappoint you.
Believe me, I almost quit VOLTA and gave up on the brand these past weeks. One of our key team members quit and walked out. But your support and backing gave me the reason to continue, I came on the campaign page a couple of weeks ago and I looked at the total amount that we made from this campaign. I said to myself, we are onto something here for these 3000 amazing people to support us and backed us with their money. And it will be a big shame on me to disappoint you by running away from the brand just because the going gets tough.
Because of you, see how far we have come in just a few weeks after deciding to make this work. We now have an office setup in the UK and the USA. Thank you so much everyone.
Finally, I am sure you want to know the ETA. We will begin shipping out orders to backers from Australia and the UK this week. This is guaranteed 100%. I have set up the fulfilment portal with ShipStation and we will be using Hermes to ship out all the orders from the UK. We will also use the Australia fulfilment hub to send out some of the USA orders until the USA is ready.
I know there must have been a lot of comments on the comment section from unhappy backers and to be honest I purposely avoided the comment section for a while now. I decided not to make any post or read comments until we have made some tangible progress with the hubs and are ready to start the fulfillment of the orders. Again, I apologise for my behaviour. Good day Everyone,
I hope you had a fantastic weekend.
We are getting really close to start shipping. 3 boxes of 130W & 200W GIGA arrived in Australia today the 31st of January. See the screenshot below:
VOLTA Spark cables are due to arrive in two days:
Anchor and 33W were shipped together and some of the boxes were delivered today the 31st of January and the rest will follow.
This simply means we can start shipping out the products to backers in Australia, Asia and maybe the EU from Australia. That is, those in UAE, HK, Malaysia, Israel etc.
I am expecting some deliveries today in Manchester (UK) from UPS (Spark cables). Screenshot below:
Also, expecting the delivery of the Anchor and 33W GiGa in the UK today:
The US stocks are also arriving this week. Some have already arrived. We are finally on top of this. I will share more info later in the week.

Quick one everyone,
Some people were asking for the Anchor update.
We have more than enough Anchor and 33W GaN chargers to fulfil all the Indiegogo orders. They have all been shipped out and heading to our fulfilment hubs. I will share a post about them shortly as soon as they arrive. Below are the tracking evidences for the shipment heading to the UK:
There are more stocks sent to the US and Australia. They are x3 of what was sent to the UK. Don't let me bore you with sending screenshots for those. These shipments also includes cables' and all.
I need to receive these shipments to start fulfilling the UK orders. However, I am filtering through the backer list to see if I can fulfil the orders of those in the UK/EU that got just the 130W or 200W Chargers.

Good day everyone,
I am sure you are all wondering what has been going on. Logistics have been a nightmare worldwide since last year. I had to wait to receive some of the packages that I have been waiting for so that I can at least show you some proof that we are truly starting fulfilment this month.
Here is the tracking details for the GIGA chargers sent to me in the UK for the UK/EU backers:
However, I finallt received the 2 boxes today:
Australia: I am still surprised how the shipment got to the UK ahead of Australia. Please keep in mind that these items had been sent out of the manufacturing factory to the forwarder since 12th of January. However, the tracking only started working on the 21st of January. Despite shipping them via Express Shipping.
USA: Below is the tracking for the USA.
There are three other shipments heading to the UK, AU and USA respectively. That is nine different shipments with tracking numbers.
Like I said, I wasn't sure what to say since the tracking numbers didn't get updated. Since I received some of the GIGA here in Manchester today, I thought I would share the photos of it with you.
I am still expecting the packaging, but I might start sending these out.
